Duke is No. 5 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. Duke remains the highest-ranked team in the ACC in the poll, above UNC (12), Louisville (T-13) and Virginia (21). In terms of the poll as a whole, Michigan (1), Arizona (2), Iowa State (3) and UConn (4) are the teams that rank above Duke.

Indiana men's basketball finished its non-conference slate with an 81-60 victory over Siena on Dec. 22, triggering a four-day break before returning to campus Dec. 27 in preparation for an 18-game sprint to the Big Ten finish line.
