The Trump administration appears to have reversed cuts to grants for mental health and addiction treatment programs that a CBS News source said were valued at around $1.9 billion.

The Trump administration moved to eliminate nearly $2 billion in federal funding for mental health care, addiction treatment and homelessness services before reversing course late Wednesday.

Letters sent to funding recipients said the grants were terminated as of Tuesday, Jan. 13, according to copies obtained by The Wall Street Journal.
