CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — NASA introduced its newest astronauts Monday, 10 scientists, engineers and test pilots chosen from more than 8,000 applicants to help explore the moon and possibly Mars.

NASA astronauts Mike Fincke and Zena Cardman will conduct the first spacewalk of 2026 on January 8. This will be Fincke's 10th spacewalk, tying the record for a NASA astronaut, and Cardman's first.
