A remote cabin's trail camera in the Canadian Rockies captured an incredible act of maternal instinct during a massive spring avalanche. As the mountainside began to crumble, a grizzly mother was seen sprinting toward the safety of a porch, carrying her cub by the scruff. Seconds after she reached the shelter and shielded her cub with her massive body, the area was engulfed in a blinding wall of thundering snow. After the dust settled, the mother uncurled herself, revealing a perfectly safe cub.
