It’s a girl for Naserian! As is a time-honoured tradition among our ex-orphans, the proud mum returned ‘home’ this weekend to introduce her brand new daughter to the people who raised her. We rescued Naserian back in 2004. After growing up in our care, first at the Nursery and then at our Ithumba Reintegration Unit, she reclaimed her place in the wilds of northern Tsavo. LIVE FROM THE NURSERY: Get to know our newest orphan, Tytan! This little black rhino was rescued in September, after his mother died in a tragic fall. As you can see, Tytan has already settled into his new life — with his Keeper and best zebra friend by his side every step of the way.
