It’s feeding time in our Open Sea habitat, and the sharks know it! The leopard sharks, spiny dogfish, tope sharks, and broadnose sevengills residing in our Open Sea habitat are fed on a regular schedule; aquarists start by preparing pounds of salmon, blue runner, squid, and herring, which they attach to long poles. The poles aren’t your ordinary fish sticks; they’re custom-made, and allow the aquarists to safely “hand” the sharks their food as they swim past. Discover the wonders of the Open Sea
